About
The cow has changed.
Branding, when it began, was about differentiating cows. Farmers ‘branded’ their cows with their initials to make them stand out from the other cows. Making them easy to identify. And over many years, Marketing and Branding has been about just that. Branding products and services and calling them our own, milking the cow slowly for what it’s worth.
But now, the cow has changed. Brands have moved to communities, and sharing is more important than ownership. The next generation is about virtual brands, web brands and shared brands. Brands that the users create, the user experiences create, the word of mouth and influencers create.
It’s a different story; and we will unravel the new concepts, simplify them, and ruminate on them. We will showcase the best in Web and Next-Gen branding, we will learn and teach, we will in general be the online compendium for these new holy cows.
